Return Ruth and elect Levy
Davis Enterprise Editorial

[Excerpt:]
Levy will bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the council. An attorney for the state Water Resources Control Board, he has a solid background in environmental issues. He's a young father, and has a perspective on Davis that his council colleagues do not share. A UC Davis alum and member of the Davis Chancellor's Club, he will further solidfy the important bonds between town and gown.
Levy has paid his dues as vice chairman of the city's Natural Resrouces Commision and as chair of the Governance Task Force. He founded and led the Grande Neighborhood Association, which advocated for neighborhood interests as the Davis Board of Education weighted future plans for the school district's vacant property there.
He's intelligent and articulate, and his calm approach to controversy will serve him well when tensions begin to boil over in the Community Chambers
Both he and Asmundson share an inner compass of integrity that points them in the right direction. We have every confidence they'll make reasonable, sensible decisions that will guide this city well over the next four years.
