The cube

I'm considering constructing some of these. The cube consists of nested boxes. The outer two boxes have holes in each face of diameter equal to the length of the sides of the cube within them. Each cube is of a different color(I'm still working out the proper color scheme). The inner cubes cannot be removed without damage to outer cubes.

Interestingly enough the "hands holding sphere" graphics that I have on my homepage were done years ago. I've still got the majority of the graphics that I in Superpaint on a Mac SE. At one point I was going to animate light images inside the sphere; I might still do that.

The knotwork background is also from Superpaint, but I worked it over in another program to get the grayscale; I think it was Painter.
