Creating Community "Get Connected" is our current theme. We chose this theme because we, the Parks, Recreation & Community Services Staff, truly believe that through your participation in our recreational programming and use of park facilities, you will become connected not only with us but also with others; your friends, your neighbors, and most importantly, your family. Through connection we create community... the Woodland Community.
Come visit our picturesque neighborhood parks, sparkling swim facilities, and beautiful camp in the natural Tahoe National Forest setting. Our annual Summer Program Guide is packed with information on our facilities, exciting programs, and educational opportunities specifically designed for you.
We offer a variety of programs and activities for all age groups. Summer activities include instructional aquatic classes and recreational swim; fun-filled summer and day camps; specialty classes; and sports programs. Don't miss great special events such as the Summer Festival Series, July 4th Family Celebration and Fun Run, Senior Center Health & Fitness Fair, and Art Festival. Each and every one of our staff members awaits your participation!
