Current Exhibit

Davis Marks the Page – view our collection of bookmarks from local businesses and other facilities. Most, unsurprisingly, are from our many bookstores, present and past – The Avid Reader, Bogey's Books, Logos Books, and Barry's Used Books (which in the 70s occupied a corner of the Co-Op).

The Naturalist, which sold supplies for exploring nature, including books, is represented. Other bookmarks advertise toy stores, the UCD Arboretum, and libraries. Many are colorful and attractively designed; some are primarily functional.

Visitors are asked to search their own books for possible additions to the exhibit, either as donations or loans.
